Fees and Policies
Arrick’s Propane doesn’t charge Fuel Surcharges, Hazardous Material Fees or Tank Rentals.
We do have an annual Minimum Usage policy. We believe that this is the best way to be fair to all of our customers while trying to keep our prices as low as possible.

Other Fees
Finance Charges
All balances are due within 10 days. Any balance over 30 days past due will be subject to a 2% finance charge every 30 days until paid. Balances over 60 days are subject to account termination and tank pickup.
Out of Gas Leak Test
If your system has zero pressure on it when we deliver in an out-of-gas situation, we must perform an Out of Gas leak test on your system. For your safety, this test must be completed before the system is returned to service. The fee for this test is $50.
Fuel Assistance Refund Fee
If you close your account and suspend your service and have a credit on your account due to a Fuel Assistance payment, Arrick’s will assess a $50 fee to cover the costs of refunding credit to the Fuel Assistance agency that issued it.
Contract Fee
Setting up some contracts may incur a one-time setup fee of $19. This fee covers the cost of processing the contract and setting it up on your account. It also represents an initial commitment on your part.
Returned Check Service Fee
If your financial institution returns your check unpaid or for non-sufficient funds, Arrick’s will assess a $50 return check fee to cover the costs of handling the returned payment.
Same-Day Delivery Charge
If you request a delivery on the same day you ordered and we are able to accommodate it, you may be charged a delivery of $50 plus tax to cover the costs of rerouting a truck from its regular route and customer deliveries.
Restocking Fee
If, for some reason, you cancel your service or your service is terminated for some other reason, Arrick’s will charge a restocking fee to cover the cost of picking up your tank and preparing it for use by another customer This fee is equal to 30% of the gallons left in the tank at current price.
Cylinder Delivery Fee
In certain areas, we charge a small fee for the delivery of certain propane cylinders. If this fee applies to you, you’ll be informed when you make an order.
Restoration of Service Charge
If your tank has been disconnected or otherwise removed from service due to an unpaid balance, there is a charge of $100 plus tax to restore service.
After-Hours Delivery Charge
If you request a delivery outside of regular delivery hours and we are able to accommodate it, you may be charged a delivery fee of $200 plus tax to cover the costs of rerouting a truck from its regular route and customer deliveries.
Equipment Rental Fee
In certain circumstances, it may be necessary to charge rental fees for the use of specialized propane equipment by commercial customers. These fees are occasionally part of a commercial contract and are normally due monthly.
System Leak Check Fee
System Leaks checks requested by customers are charged as a standard service call rate of $89 + tax. If the leak or problem is on Arrick’s equipment, the fee is waived.
